The aim is that high-performing, proactive organisations – companies and institutions – which reflect the daily reality of the Luxembourg economy can be brought together in “Business Club” to inspire decision-makers, instigate contacts, enable members to share quality time with their guests.
To organise different types of meeting-points – workshops, conferences, round table discussions, cocktail parties – in five thematic areas: “Management & Strategies”, “Financial marketplace”, “Marketing & Communication”, “ICT” and “Human Resources”.
The first season, May 2008 – July 2009, showed positive and highly encouraging results: 3,700 participants and 100 speakers for 40 events in 20 notable settings.
Future plans: in addition to the 45 events planned for the second season (September 2009 – July 2010), Business Club members will benefit from a series of further advantages. These include unlimited publication of employment offers on paperJam.jobs, transmission of messages via paperJam.TV and through the paperJam newsletter.
Amongst the main changes for the 2009/2010 season are the creation of new types of events and the introduction of a new section in paperJam (including the magazine, website, newsletter) dedicated to Business Club.
On the events front, three “Grands Prix paperJam” in the fields of “Communication”, “ICT” and “Human Resources” will bring the most influential people and their clients together during the first semester for the best practices award ceremonies.
As well as the classic conferences and round table meetings organised as after work talks, some fifteen morning workshops will aid members to improve their skills in their field and exchange ideas with their peers in other organisations.
